11  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Shirts: Freezer paper, namaste and ginko... on: February 01, 2009 07:48:23 PM
My friend Amber and I got together this past Saturday, and I introduced the wonder that is freezer paper. Here are my creations:

Namaste on Red:

Ginko on Tan:
12  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cotton circle scrubbers on: January 25, 2009 04:20:33 PM
Nothing incredibly exciting, but I like them!

13  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Chenille Scarf with Beading on: January 25, 2009 04:15:11 PM
I wasn't supposed to buy anything new, but I couldn't resist a bit of chenille found in the remnants. It's so soft!

Pardon the lighting. It was dark, and I wanted to post tonight!

14  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Lip Balm on: January 25, 2009 04:06:55 PM
Last year I received a Lip Balm kit in a swap (From maremare!!!). I finally made them:

I put the labels on wrong, so they don't overlap in the back like they should. Other than that, not too shabby!
15  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Sakura on: January 19, 2009 08:12:46 PM
I made this quite some time ago but never posted.

Saw something similar online and wondered if I could pull it off. Not too shabby! Has beans in the bottom so it won't topple.

16  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Om in the Home.... on: January 19, 2009 07:58:26 PM
Just a little fun with scrapbook paper in a tiny frame:

17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / MASH Shoulder Bag from too-big shirt on: January 19, 2009 07:54:37 PM
Christmas before last I received a MASH shirt from my mom that was WONDERFUL but too BIG.

I finally made use of it!

Inside (saved the tag!):
18  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Purse with Japanese print fabric and bamboo handles. on: January 19, 2009 07:46:31 PM
I've seen a few posts similar to this with chopstick handles. That was what I originally intended, but the bamboo just worked so perfectly! I love the look of this purse, but it doesn't open as wide as I would like. I'm guessing that's so stuff doesn't fall out. (No closure.) The inside is a gold satin fabric that frays like CRAZY!!!

19  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Door Hanger Organizer on: January 19, 2009 07:36:26 PM
I was having trouble remembering to take my badge to work. I dug out a magazine clipping Mom sent YEARS ago, and I had my answer. (Second is more true to color.)

My inspiration:

20  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Star Shirt - Freezer Paper!!! on: January 19, 2009 07:20:28 PM
How great is it to see a shirt on TV and think, "Hey! I can make that!"

Thanks to freezer paper, here's mine:

Here's the inspiration shirt:
