I managed the base without issue. The branch took some time but posed no problems, but the flowers!!! I tried several different things, but just didn't like any of them. I looked at pre-fabricated ribbon flowers. They were too expensive. I tried making my own. I didn't like them. Amber said they were too pointy.

I found the bamboo tray in a thrift store--think I've had it for about a year. Love that I'm not throwing my scraps into an empty kleenex box anymore. Tho it was quite handy.
The pin cushion is removable. The thread catcher is held on by velcro:
I'm really pleased with the results!
