I have recently discovered that I LOVE mulberry paper. Here are two of my creations! Opinions welcome!

1442  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Necklace that didn't cost me a penny!!! on: August 02, 2005 07:49:19 PM
I made this from a woven cotten ribbon (?) that was tied around a throw I bought around Christmas, a shell from the beach, and a piece of a stick from my Aunt. Pics kinda blury, sorry. Opinions welcome!

1443  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Capri Sun PUrse. on: July 29, 2005 04:02:18 PM
You could use the bamboo handles they sell at craft stores, or better yet, you can use some plastic tubing. The clear tubing won't take anything away from your design.
1444  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: female anatomy (if you have a problem with this, don't read this thread!) on: July 27, 2005 06:58:21 PM
What an incredibly intense topic!!! I think your creations are fantastic, and anything, crocheted or otherwise, that leads to a better understanding and respect for the human body gets my vote. Thanks for having the....guts....to post this incredible craft, and keep crocheting!
1445  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Pet swap *** July 18th - July 30th sign up! *** on: July 25, 2005 10:18:36 AM
Oh, man! This is great!!! I LOVE making pet stuff!!! I've been reading posts for a long time, but I haven't posted enough to join! (I have three cats and a dog). Can I hurry up and post a bunch and still make it???
1446  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Stenciled Headrests...(my fist post) on: May 21, 2005 07:00:21 AM
They weren't very difficult. There's an insert as well so you can take off the cover and wash it. I can try and post a tutorial, if anyone's interested.

Thanks for all the comments!
1447  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Stenciled Headrests...(my fist post) on: May 20, 2005 09:07:09 AM
This is my first post, so we'll see how this goes. These are headrests I sewed and stenciled (for over the bed). Got the idea from something I saw on IKEA. I moved some furniture around, and they're difficult to move because of the anchors holding up the bamboo rods. Now they're wall hangings!

Here's a close-up of the design:

Would appreciate feedback!
