I had a sweater. I liked the color but hated how it fit. I saw this post: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=280721.0 and decided to give it a try! Most of the sweater-to-purse recons I found online were just two squares sewn together. I loved what she came up with!

I never remember a before pic, but I did manage an in-process pic. This was after I drafted the pattern.


Oh, and have you seen what Apple charges for the cozies that look like sweaters!?!?!?!?! Ouch!

This one I did for ME! It was knit in the round and is easily 6ft long. Three is my lucky number, so the red has 33 rows, the brown has nine and the green has three. The brown-green-brown pattern is repeated 9 times, and the fringe is grouped in threes.

I dunno much about this thread, but I felt the need in say that the chocolate Almond Breeze is BANGIN'!!!

I have a big enough extended family that it will come in useful somewhere along the line & one of my faraway friends has a grand daughter due this year so it won't sit in a box all unloved & unwanted for long
