21  Lip Balm in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by nofury on: January 25, 2009 04:06:55 PM
Last year I received a Lip Balm kit in a swap (From maremare!!!). I finally made them:

I put the labels on wrong, so they don't overlap in the back like they should. Other than that, not too shabby!

23  Sakura in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by nofury on: January 19, 2009 08:12:46 PM
I made this quite some time ago but never posted.

Saw something similar online and wondered if I could pull it off. Not too shabby! Has beans in the bottom so it won't topple.

Christmas before last I received a MASH shirt from my mom that was WONDERFUL but too BIG.

I finally made use of it!

26  Purse with Japanese print fabric and bamboo handles. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by nofury on: January 19, 2009 07:46:31 PM
I've seen a few posts similar to this with chopstick handles. That was what I originally intended, but the bamboo just worked so perfectly! I love the look of this purse, but it doesn't open as wide as I would like. I'm guessing that's so stuff doesn't fall out. (No closure.) The inside is a gold satin fabric that frays like CRAZY!!!

I was having trouble remembering to take my badge to work. I dug out a magazine clipping Mom sent YEARS ago, and I had my answer. (Second is more true to color.)

28  Star Shirt - Freezer Paper!!! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by nofury on: January 19, 2009 07:20:28 PM
How great is it to see a shirt on TV and think, "Hey! I can make that!"

Thanks to freezer paper, here's mine:

Here's the inspiration shirt:

29  Bag for storing bedding.... in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by nofury on: January 19, 2009 07:02:37 PM
I have a comforter for the first time in years. I was saving the plastic zippered bag it came in so that I had something to store it in during the summer. I don't really like storing in plastic, and Mom suggest I make something with cotton fabric. Well, I had some sheets that didn't fit my bed properly, but I couldn't get rid of them because I love the pattern. They're 100% cotton!!!

Finished project holding four pillows:

30  I love freezer paper and my Mom hates Armadillos... in Stenciling: Completed Projects by nofury on: January 10, 2009 05:00:04 PM
Slight back story: My Mom hates Armadillos. They tear up her garden, flowers, etc. One even bangs on the down spout at night when she's trying to sleep. She shoots them and drags them off to a place she has termed her Armadillo graveyard. Now, I'm not a big fan of this, but she's my Mom and I love her.

So, for her birthday this year, I broke out the freezer paper and made her a couple of shirts. (Paint's a bit more even once it dried.)

I also made a card:

hehehe! I had a little too much fun with this one!
