I made this starbella ruffle skirt after finding a free pattern.

It's actually more like a ruffle tutu. I purposely made it short for my 3 year old daughter for playtime. I am making another one that's a little longer (by spacing the ruffle a little further apart) so that she can wear it without leggings and as an actual skirt for Christmas. She really loves this one, so I thought it'd be a fun gift.

It's a unique skirt, certainly not one I've ever seen that you can buy in stores. I think I may be making skirts for all my friends who have daughters for their birthdays lol

I used one "Fly a Kite" starbella skein.

I saw this cool tulle christmas tree http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=332694.0 and it reminded me of this tree I saw on youtube.

The lady shows you how you can make a geo mesh tree using a tomato cage. Has anyone ever tried that before? Looks easy in the video. Sort of like using a wire wreath form but with a tomato cage instead. http://youtu.be/WvA1_sHveGo
