I have Greeting from the Knit Cafe and I didn't really look twice at that pattern.  After I saw your finished scarf I thought it was super sexy in an understated kinda way...I was inspired to dig out my book again.  I think I might want to "attempt" to make myself one.  I'm a great starter but not quite as hot in the finishing department!!  Thanx for the inspiration!

Both of your FO's are exquisitive, completely unique but totally wearable.  I liked your blog and I like your knitting as well.  I would be pleased if you did retrace your steps and re-create your pattern.  Thanx for sharing!!

Thanx for the posting the link.  As I was looking at the foto, I was thinking I wonder what pattern that is and were do I find it?

I love the color you chose for your sweater, it has a vintage, classic look to it.  It looks amazing and much more memorable than the sweater color on the model from the website.  I hope you're proud for making something so beautiful.  I bet it will be a staple in your wardrobe for a long time.
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby hats - basic but cute on: March 27, 2007 05:02:26 PM
Okay...I can see the fotos now.  Those are really great and for some reason look extra cute on lil' babes.  Maybe cuz lil' babes are so pudgy and round, who knows?  I  might just have to try one....

Your hat is a true testament that necessity is the mother of all invention.  I want to say hats off to you but that just seems like one bad pun...so great work and I admire your stubborn streak.

That's killer and ingenious that it hands off a gigantic knitting needle.

I couldn't see the picture...but I want to see them cuz I have a few friends who are going to be having some babes soon.

That is fantastic, the color is wicked!!  Would you recommend buying the book.  I haven't seen it in the bookstores here yet either.  You put me to shame, I just finished a scarf that was supposed to be a Christmas present (last Christmas)!  As always, I am amazed and inspired.

Thanx for the tip about the knit-along thread.  I will check it out!  I hear you about hoping the knits look good on me!  I'm not exactly 7 feet tall and 100 lbs...a little closer to 5 feet tall...here's too hoping!!
