5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / another Star Swap? on: July 07, 2005 05:31:38 PM
edit 9/11/05: okay. I feel like I can organize this now. just bringing this back up to see if there is still interest. when would be a good time for sign-ups? Also, what do you think should/shouldn't be changed?

Okay. I was looking through the archives and found this : http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=25820.0

Looks really cool and simple so it shouldn't really clash with any of the other Major swaps going on that I know most of y'all are involved in.

I really like stars and would really love to organize Star Swap 2.
People interested, please let me know that you are. If I don't get feedback here, I won't bother.

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Shakespeare Swap? on: July 06, 2005 08:02:07 PM
My final swap idea post for tonight.... A Shakespeare Swap.

Participants could craft anything related to the life and/or works of Shakespeare.

I guess this is just a basic idea. Interested persons could throw more ideas out there...
7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / key chain swap on: July 06, 2005 07:42:25 PM
My creative juices are flowing.

how about a keychain swap?  Any and all keychains welcome! Rexlace, Hemp, Beads, Wire, Fimo, small stuffed animals, ALTERED BARBIE HEADS (a favourite of mine)!! Whatever you can think of.

If there's interest in this kind of swap... when would you all like to have it? would you like multiple partners?

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / applique/broach/pin swap? on: July 06, 2005 05:27:30 PM
how would y'all like an applique swap? Things like cloth patches, or beaded thingies that can be used to embellish other projects? (purses, backpacks, clothes... if beaded, they can even be converted into earrings and stuff). Broaches and Pins too?

Maybe participants can have the option to make multiple appliques and send to multiple people in order to receive multiple appliques in return.

Writer78 mentioned buying some. I was kind of thinking hand-made ones (sorry for not being specific). But buying them would also be cool... just in case there are people wanting to participate that aren't sure how to make appliques.
