21  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Totem Skulls -Lino- on: November 12, 2013 03:16:56 PM
These are prints of my totem skull lino's and I really had fun with the colors. I'm not exactly happy with the teal, but I love the yellow color, and I will try to make a lighter purple. The pattern I did on them were inspired by totem poles, I really enjoyed carving these. I've been on a skull kick this semester in printmaking.

Charming cup!

What about a giraffe cup or a blow fish cup?

Aw thank you. :3

It is a lovely cup - I'm sure your mother is glad. I have seen a cat cup once, it worked fine - but maybe the tail was a bit fluffy  Cheesy

Thank you! Ah nice. Cheesy

How funny and so cute!!

You could make a cat, with the tail as a ear cup?

Ah yes I thought of a cat, but I'd have to make his tail fluffy hahahaa. A thin tail would be too weak for the handle. :3
But yes, a cat is definitely in consideration! Cheesy

So I made this elephant mug for my mom because she loves elephants. I love how it came out and so does she.
I'm planning on making more animal mugs, one is going to be a goat, and I'm going to make another elephant. I don't know what I should make for the last one though, suggestions are welcome! Cheesy
