1  Dead Eye -Footsie- in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by 13anana on: November 09, 2014 02:11:55 PM

Footsie is a temporary name I came up for this species, and Dead Eye is a temporary name for this particular guy. I might keep it but right now it's up in the air.

As for this little guy, I'd made him a while ago, don't even remember when, posted his first pic on my Instagram back in November 2013! I think I was going to make little accessories but then life happened and I never got around to it. So I'm posting him now so I don't keep forgetting, plus I always like seeing this little guy on my shelf.

His personality is that he's an explorer that is fascinated by the life that surrounds us. He carries around a book in which he writes descriptions and draws all his findings. He lost his eye during one of his expeditions, but that didn't stop him from exploring. He's a very curious little guy and takes a lot of risks. His little ears constantly twitch and move with excitement when he finds something new or interesting.

As for his species, they all wear these little suits that cover their entire body except for their face, hands, and feet. They have tufts of fur that can be seen on the base of their hands and feet, sometimes they have it sticking out from under their hoods. They all have a great variety of horns, and big noses. They also have little rabbit like ears at the top of their heads, which tend to move a lot depending on their emotions. Their mouths aren't visible, so it is not known how they eat, or IF they even eat.

Hopefully I'll make some more of these, I really do like their design. I definitely need to put a wire skeleton because his head doesn't stay up like I want it to. Plus that'll make them very posable!

(This species is my original creation.)

2  Senketsu and Junketsu -Anime ON- Plus another Dice Bag. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: October 25, 2014 11:03:10 AM

Have you watched Kill La Kill? NO? Then go watch it right now. But if you have, then these guys should look very familiar to you! These were incredibly fun to make. Cheesy

Made from canvas and cotton fabric, faux leather, and felt. They have an adjustable strap, for more comfy lengths. Everything is machine sewn and sturdy. They also have a little inside pocket for small things, and a back pocket for bigger things.

Senketsu & Junketsu - Kill La Kill

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

A second version of my D20 Bags. This one has a third side to it and has a strap, to show off that d20 love!

This one was more difficult to put together, but I rather liked the end result. Ill probably be making more of these!

Machine sewn, made from canvas fabric and my handcarved lino piece.

3  Skull Bags - Lino Print in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: September 29, 2014 10:28:51 AM

This skull was carved for a totem skull piece I did. This is the antler totem skull, bottom of the totem. I imagined him as the strongest and most peaceful of the three. The yellow bag has embroidery and shiny bits to make it stand out a bit more since the fabric was bland compared to the other two.

Each bag has a hand strung chain. It is composed of one colorful stone skull bead, and 3 glass beads to match the bags color scheme. As you can see in the close up below. Cheesy

===================================================================

The design is something I call the "Hardcore Skull." I named it so because of the following reasons. The pain held within, never showing, fearful of rejection is shown by the crying eye, while sporting a manly moustache and missing a tooth, likely knocked out during a fight.

These each come with a metal clasp so you can hook it onto your keys, bag, purse, etc!

4  D20 Bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: September 28, 2014 11:18:48 AM

I had carved out a linoleum piece representing a d20 specifically for this! You can see the lino piece down below. It was a lot of carving and hard work. Stared at a d20 for hours, but it was worth it!

I really like how they came out, I didn't expect such good results, but I'm glad this was the outcome. I'm working on another bag, different from these, it's a grueling process but so far so good!

5  Dog and Cat Bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: September 25, 2014 05:57:52 PM

A cute glasses wearing cat print, that I just had to make into a bag because it was the opposite of the dog print!

This is a hobo style bag with an inside pocket and adjustable shoulder strap. You untie the ends of the shoulder strap, adjust, and then re-tie the ends.

Another bag made from the same fabric as the hobo style bag. I had a lot of fabric left over and thought, why not make another bag? This one is more of a tote style bag, great for carrying big items!

6  Hobo Style Bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: August 20, 2014 09:27:41 AM

These are hobo style bags with an inside pocket and adjustable shoulder strap. You untie the ends of the shoulder strap, adjust, and then re-tie the ends. They each have a matching coin purse!

I found fabric in the same style as the Dog one but with a cat! That will definitely be the next bag I make! :3

7  Re: Ice Cream and 1st Gen Pokemon Stickers in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: July 17, 2014 05:26:54 PM
I love all of these! I especially like the coloring on the cone with the eye patch.

Thank you very much! Cheesy
Love your icon btw, hahahaha.
Thanks!

I found this deep in the depths of my sketchbooks. Your post makes me want to revisit it somehow. I love monster food.

Oooooo, you totally should! Cheesy

8  Ice Cream and 1st Gen Pokemon Stickers in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: July 15, 2014 09:10:53 PM

The ice cream cones are going to be one of a kind, they may share similarities, but they won't be exactly the same. The "creepy" ice cream cones will be separate sets, I might make some more really soon, if I have time. Cheesy
These were all so much fun to make!

These are all hand drawn, laminated, colored with colored pencils, and cut out by hand!

9  Totoro Drawstring Bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by 13anana on: June 19, 2014 09:20:21 AM

I was greatly inspired by orcagirl2001's, on DA, wonderful drawstring bags (which you should check out, they are wonderful). And then when I realized that they could be used as dice bags, I had to make some!

I saw these pieces of fabric and instantly thought Totoro! I made each Totoro and spirits out of felt, then painted the faces and body markings with fabric paint. One big bag has Totoro on both sides, while the other big bag has Totoro on one side and the Spirits on the other. The small bag just has the spirits, one on each side.

10  Angry Ice Cream Plush in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by 13anana on: May 17, 2014 11:06:45 AM
I made some little ice cream stickers one day and I just loved their facial expressions, they were priceless. So I decided to translate them into plushes, because that's always fun! So this is the first one, it's a little angry guy, but gotta love that face.

I made some other ones, but I messed up on the cone part. I might just make them into little ice cream scoop cushions though, because I do like how the ice cream part came out. :3
