I am currently obsessed with geometric jewelry - so I decided to take a stab at making my own. This is the first necklace I designed. Pretty sure I will be making more along this line in the near future
I have been having so much fun this week playing around with some new techniques in my version of quilling - and while doing so, made this cute little pendant that I turned into a necklace using hemp cord. It's pretty fun and I am sure to be making more of these babies
Not my typical kind of project... but I was asked by a friend to make this cross pendant for her pastor. It was a challenge actually - which of course I love. I still have to outfit it with the hardware and leather cord, but I think it turned out okay.
I have been making quilled paper earrings for a few years now but haven't really expanded much into other kinds of jewelry until lately. It has been so much fun coming up with new designs and the kind responses I have gotten from festival goers has spurred me on a great deal. This mod design is pretty simple in design and to make. I have had fun wearing it about town and thought I'd share it with you. If you'd like to take a roll at making it, I made a free tutorial of the pattern too. Hope you like it!
I have been experimenting a lot lately with some new techniques and things to shake things up a bit in my quilling design world. While doing so, I made these two pendants with the intention of making them into necklaces. They are pretty big. The lotus is actually quite huge. I really like them though. Hope you do too!
I have had this design in my head for ages but finally got around to making it this evening. I really like how it worked out. I am going to make a few more versions this next week and create a tutorial for it eventually. I think I will finish this one off and make it into a necklace.
*added another photo on page 3 that shows this design made into a necklace.
I love, love, love designing paper jewelry. As each new season approaches, I get the itch and design a new collection of sorts. Here are a few that I have come up with over the past couple of days. I'd love to know what you all think. I will get to debut them in person at an art festival I am participating in over Easter weekend, but I am excited to show them to you all now
