1  Small Perler-project in Beads: Completed Projects by mynta on: May 31, 2011 12:59:32 AM
Did you know "perler" is from the swedish "pärlor" and simply means "beads"? Grin

It was this swedish macho-guy who invented them. He was sitting in his timberlog and was bored. Some-one suggested him to start knitting & sew xstiches, but he thought it was way to sissy. So he put a lot of nails on a piece of wood and decoraded it with beads beause "it was more male" <3

Well, here is what I made myself:
A pair of dangly mismathing earrings and a barret.

handmade hooks in black

close-up of the earrings...

work in progress

I was inspired of my new socks in the beginning. I realised that  I had nothing to go with it, so I made some accesoaries. ^^

2  Re: Huge amont of new scrunchies in black and white in Crochet: Completed Projects by mynta on: April 27, 2011 02:43:44 AM
I know how addictive it is to make that kind of stuff Grin OK, so I like the black and white effect, but how do you wear these? All in your hair?

Im very found of how that turned out aswell. I have decided will use that as a pattern for an edging on a shrug. It would be neat i think.

Yea, in my hair. In simple hairdos like those:

When I do the Zumba I want a lot of motion and flappering, because it is even  more fun that way. So when I decided to update my zumba-outfit with at new pair of pants, I came up with this:

Incredible simple made out of a pair of old jeans, wich I just sliced up the leg on, like this:

I was so happy how nice the result turned out and how very simple it was to do, so I just HAVE to share!
