I pieced and quilted the black and white fabric then made it into a "skirt"  for the 31 skirt purse.

When I switched to an iPhone recently I had to give up my nifty charger/clock/weather dock I loved for my 'droid. I couldn't find quite what I wanted but the Wedge for iPads was close...but big. So I made one. I had made Spring Chickens (a Riley Blake blog tutorial) and used that thought to make a "wedgie." It's filled with unpopped popcorn and a bit of fluff and sort of reminds me of the Sorting Hat of Harry Potter fame. The piece in front is the handle from a 2inch sponge brush--whatever's on hand, right? Add the WeatherClock Pro app (99cents) and I'm a happy girl.

My kids grew up with felt stockings made from kits--zillions of little pieces, bajillions of sequins, and Great Expectations for stockings to contain awesomeness and magic. This year (2012) I celebrate Christmas with a Granddaughter who I call "The Sweetness." Her mom, my daughter, carried on the felt/sequin/jazzy tradition beautifully and so I branched out to machine embroidery and pieced/quilted magic. Here it is...thanks for looking!
