1  Cthulhu Mittens- Now with pictures! in Knitting: Completed Projects by rox.johnson on: December 17, 2012 07:01:10 AM
My cousin wanted me to knit her a Cthulhu scarf but I just couldnt figure out a good way to do it. Then, I fell in love with this mitten pattern http://www.twistcollective.com/collection/component/content/article/100-fall-2012-patterns/1232-horatio-and-oren-by-barbara-gregory at first sight so I bought it, planning at least two pairs of adorable owl mittens for friends. Through an awesome mistake, I printed it on ink saving mode and the mittens didnt have the design in them. A light bulb went off in my head- Cthulhu has a big round head just like these owls. So I drew my own pattern into the printed directions and knitted up some xmas presents!

2  Grow a Pear in Needlework: Completed Projects by rox.johnson on: November 05, 2012 09:03:11 AM
I finally learned cross stitch to make this for my greatest auntie!
I found a pattern on the internet and proceeded to mess up the counting and then have to fix it because I hate ripping things out.

3  Double knit scarves in Knitting: Completed Projects by rox.johnson on: October 12, 2012 05:26:09 PM
Most of my projects are Lindsay Henricks' Uncle Argle Scarves from Son of Stitch and Bitch. I like them because they are simple, two-color reversible scarves. They are warm and stylish!

I took the basic double knit idea and created different designs for friends and family. I haven't posted enough to upload images, but here are some links! I'm working on scanning in my patterns. They're kind of fun, so I thought I'd share.
