I got this awesome card from ChameleonHound. It is in the style of South Park cutouts. I love his little claws.

Here are my awesome bugs from La Chapa. She totally outdid me on the number of bugs she made.
The butterfly and moth shrinkies have so much detail!

Here is a butterfly mobile which will live in my craft room once I mount something to the ceiling. And yes, that is my Kit Kat clock photobombing. I absolutely love it.

Okay, I'm super post-y. I got this multimedia 4x6 from crazyda79. I have a sneaking suspicion it was inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean.

Here it is without the plastic. It is my rendition of Lautrec's Girl in Pink Tights. My statement is about the loss of career at a young age. The floor is sliding away. Green-blue on the left is pulling her gaze. She is colorless, lost to the costume and background. My mother hates when I do that but pretty art isn't always just about beauty.

5  Stuffie Jackalope in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by rockingbearranch on: November 18, 2014 12:36:46 PM
This is a stuffie jackalope I made for the Cryptid swap. It is part angora rabbit, squirrel, deer, and paint silkie chicken. Chrissy the angora bun was the inspiration for the face. She is in the middle of growth and has been playing in the garden so please forgive her messy hair-do. I use a grooming comb for my stuffed animals. I sometimes carve out areas of the fur for greater realism. The pieces were cut as I sewed by hand, no pattern. I recommend hand sewing whenever possible for faux fur. Another helpful tip is to cut the backside with a razor and not use scissors. Faux fur is very forgiving once you understand the basics.

The Raging Sloth forgot to take care of her permit. I made sure it was all taken care of it before she got a ticket. November 31st is the official hunting day for jackalope.

That was a fun idea. Like the art is a tiny wall of art.

Here is my piece from onyxnox. It is collaged mixed media. It is going to look great with another painting I have. Thank you!

The Raging Sloth made this amazing woven wall hanging. I like how she portrayed depth and fur pattern on the rabbit. And the stick and the moon and the handmade tassels, fantastic!

9  Feather and Embroidery Moth Faux Taxidermy in Needlework: Completed Projects by rockingbearranch on: November 10, 2014 01:01:13 PM
Here is my second completed mixed media hoopla with embroidered feathered fliers. This one had little embroidery compared to the first. It relies heavily on embellishment to created the Death's Head Hawkmoth patterning.

10  Re: Inchie House Halloween Swap (Mail By 10/28) in The Swap Gallery by rockingbearranch on: November 06, 2014 11:14:48 AM
Here are my awesome inchie houses. The wee ghosties and tiny black cats are so cute popping out of Blupaisan's southwester style house. Hazelly made the middle one with the fun puffy spider. The candy corn house by irid3sc3nt has a mini Hello Kitty and a ton of windows and door to more candy corn on the inside.
