1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Candle holder made out of sand and twigs : Us At The Beach. on: July 14, 2015 10:26:42 AM
I found a recipe how to make clay out of sand ..So today I made this candle holder out of sand ..I put some of the prepared sand aside in old catfoodcans and mixed them with acryl paint for the colored parts while my first idea was to make the sea, the figures and the surounding of the fire in polymer clay..But at the second thought I tought it would be a challence to do it all in sand..I took some twigs out of my bush to finish the fire..all by all it was rather difficult to make the figures,, But   I think the result ain't that bad..It's..Us at the beach.
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Pocketknife Organizer ( recycled cup ) on: July 10, 2015 03:59:16 AM
A while ago the handle of one of my favorite cups broke of..I still drank my coffee out of it..But it is not really a nice sight a cup without an handle..As I have a few pocketknifes which is very handy for several things..Peeling apples, cutting cords and strings, fixing watches and even use it as a little screwdriver and so on..But again like so many things in my house I needed an organizer to keep them together..So I thought the combination of the trees on the cup and the pocketknifes would make a good organizer so imitaded wood with polymer clay and painted and varnished it several times..Anyhow..I found a nice place to place it as you see..So next time I'm looking for a pocketknife that goes together with my dress I will know where to find it.. Wink

5  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Mister and Missis Peanutbutter and a very nice Bread. on: July 08, 2015 10:43:08 AM
Mister and Missis Peanutbutter and a very nice Bread..Today I made some Peanutbutter and I must say..I did it my way..I pealed some peanuts and put them in a coffeebeangrinder (normaly you should do it with a kitchenmachine).I added a little bit of cocosoil..Lucumapowder and 2 raisins..I created Mister and Missis Peanutbutter who posed for the "Best Peanutbutter I ever ate" ..They made the twofingersign which stands for peace or victory or however you may call it and they love eachother very much..After the photoshoot I put them on the top of my closet where they have a good view over my livingroom and kitchen to watch over my next Creations I will make with Peanutbutter. . (And I have some ideas in mind already). The covering of the Peanutbutterpot and Mister and Missis Peanutbutter's Jackets are done with toiletpaper. Then the bread...I am still experimenting to create the perfect kind of Bread so this time I made a white bread with Linseed , Hempowder,Hazelnutmeal, Lucumapowder and for a finishing touch I spinkled some poppy seed over it..It turned out to be a very nice Bread..

9  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Painted Flowerpots for my Audrey 1 and Audrey 2 on: May 24, 2015 09:23:27 PM
Since a child I allready couldn't stand the sight of those sticky strips hanging above the table to catch flies..I tought it was terrible for those flies to stick on such a thing for hours while making so much noise for hours while they must have been suffering like hell..Last year I had a flyplague at my house and I used a spray that I found in the closet left by the last owners of my house. So I started spraying..Some of the flies fell down in an instant but I was so flabbergasted the day after that I saw that a lot of them were still half alive ..I Said to myself..Never Again..I never had what they call Green fingers but I decided to get me some carnivore plants and I found two of them last week which I called Audrey 1 and Audrey 2 after the Carnivore plant in The Little shop of Horrors (movie)(In the meantime I found another store where I can get them cheaper but smaller and will get me 2 more later this week) I Think we have to respect life in any way it comes and I try to be vegetarian myself and most of the time I succeed in that..Anyhow I know that my little plants wont eat all those flies (if it would comes to a flypflyplague again but it is a more natural way I think..I painted the flower pots with inktense pencils ..
10  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Saving the flowers from the mower with a recycled Soda Bottle turned i to a Vase on: May 24, 2015 08:27:12 PM
I Have some beatiful little flowers in my Garden which would be completely destroyed tomorrow when the mower will go over it..So I  thought  bout a DIY link that I saw on the net bout how to recycle a soda bottle into a vase and made it this afternoon in my Garden. My Curious and Rather Crazy Chicken Camilla came to check it out and liked it a lot..She's rather wild and this afternoon she jumped on my cup of coffee spoiling it all into the grass but this plastic Vase she left untouched and was even rather interessted..So very much fun in a little time with recycled stuff and the flowers are a very nice view on my table and this way they will live longer ! Cheesy
