Great use of the wood slices, The Raging Sloth (great user name, too). I've just pruned my apple tree in the backyard, so I will see if I can get some decent slices to use like this.

Great looking scrap blanket. I like the way the black both ties together all the different colors as well as shows them off. I'm on the Knot and Ties are Cool side, too.

Vertyshka, that blanket looks great. I like that you gathered and shared your data about the work, the stripes, rows and time per row, and problems you encountered. That is exactly the sort of thing that would help me decide on a project.

Mandykaye, Cackle, Imera and RamonaQ (or anyone who wants to):
The full story of your Tisiphone Lane is here: http://too-lazy-to-be-evil.com/blog/?page_id=4025
That way you can read about your neighbors and get the ending bit of the story.
Thank you all for a great swap!

I have received my two final houses.

From RamonaQ:

The front. This light doesn't show it, but there is a delicate iridescence to the the butterfly stripes.

The back.  I cannot imagine where you found that picture with the enormously skull-headed doctor!  Wow.  Like that gold foil trim, too!
Thank you, RamonaQ

From imera:

The front. Amazing texture and so many details!  The vampire looking at the moon, the bats (love those bats!!) the mysterious creeping fog. And of course, the ghost in the attic porthole window.

The back.  I really like your moons, the swirly paint is great.  Again, those bats kill me; I just love them.  Definitely worth the sore fingers I'm sure you had.  And my own personal little graveyard at the side.
Thank you, imera.

My neighborhood:

I love all my houses, ladies.  This has been a very good swap!

All these houses are so great!

I have received a darling house from mandykaye.
The front view, with my initial atop the door:

And when you open the brad/doorknob you find:

A tiny graveyard view and a shot of a Victorian parlor. I can't tell if that is a large doll or a dead girl (as in the Victorian mourning photos), but either way, it is pretty spooky.

The back:

The color of the fabric is truer on this shot than the first. I quite like that fabric - I'd love to perhaps do a little personal swap with you if you happen to have some more of it in need of a new home.

The house came wrapped up in cheerful halloween tissue, too.  Thank you very much mandykaye.
8  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Chunky Houses Halloween Edition Rnd 2 (Mail by 10/15) on: October 04, 2011 12:44:18 PM
Maybe I'm getting way too into these houses, but I won't be sending early. Sorry for the wait partners, but I want them to follow this tiny obsession and I seem to be picky about them.  They must be * just so* to be right.  The neighborhood is progressing, slowly.
9  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: Wear Wolf? on: September 30, 2011 01:36:22 PM
This is so very excellent and fun!  I hope to make my own, one day.  Thank you for sharing all your steps and learning experiences.

I received a house from cackle yesterday, but had to wait for some sunlight - night owl disadvantages.

Isn't it cute? I love the birds wearing witch hats.  You can just see the sparkle of gold on the roof in this picture. I really like the star flowers on the branch, too.

And the back with an excellently written label with details.

Thank you so much cackle. I love it, my very first chunky house ever.
