Thanks! I started with two blank typeset drawer type panels and applied black paint all over for the background. Then I used a very cool crackle technique (which I can make a tutorial for if folks are interested) with acrylic paint, Elmer's glue and Kroma Crackle for the outside frames. I then used Aves brand Apoxy clay to create all the pumpkins and candy corn (and the cat and mouse on the left panel). There are a number of cool wood cutouts I got from a neat shop on Etsy and little bottles filled with beads and glitter with spooky labels I downloaded from somewhere. Then I ransacked my studio for all the graphics and odds and ends. The typeset letters for 'boo!' area happy accident (the b is an upside down p).
This is my first venture onto Craftster and I'm excited about this challenge since the prize (being Elmer's) seems perfect since it was a key element in the project. What a good excuse to create something!!
