Today I had a brainstorm and I wanted to share the tip with the group!
I went to the home improvement store and bought a 4'x8' sheet of styrofoam insulation that was covered in a foil coating so it didn't bend as easily. I cut it straight down the middle lenghtwise, and laid my scarf design directly on top of it:

Like so.
Then after I was happy with that side, I laid out my saran wrap, then bubble wrap on top of it, bubbles facing the work:

Then I laid the other piece on top of that and sandwiched it in.

Then I tied near each end with lycra ties (that I usually use for rolling)

(you could have a second person get on the other end and help you flip if you trust them enough)
Then, easy as pie I flipped it right over without incident!
It was light as a feather and straight and firm without any worries of shifting or movement!
Then simply remove the top board and you reveal the other side of the project waiting to be finished!

The insulation was only about $13 in the building materials section and I had a much more enjoyable time laying out knowing I wasn't going to mess it up while trying to flip it!
