2  ghetto hot glue pins. ((updated Sun, June 12)) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by breakfastclub122 on: June 10, 2005 06:16:29 PM
so this is kinda stupid but i'll put it up here anyway...

((next to a penny (dont mind the holes) for size comparison))
it's basically a piece of paper and a big ol pool of hot glue. you could probably use little pictures cut from magizines or from the internet or whatever too. now i just need to get to the store to get some of those pin things to glue on the back, or magnets, or whatever.
if anyone wants a tutorial i can make one...
tell me what you think.  Grin

//EDiT//
so these are the ones ive made in the past few days.
((SORRY FOR REALLY TERRIBLE PICTURES! they look better in person, the photos suck because of the glare.))

daisy::piece of velcro that came with the flower on it
star::paper & sharpies
heart::cut out from canvas-type fabric.

cassettes & star::paper & sharpies
heart::cut from magazine.

i still haven't gotten any pin back things but other uses ive considered are magnets, kechains, charms, or big dangley type earrings that i dont really wear.

3  50 pairs of earrings for about $2.35?!?! woot. count me in... in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by breakfastclub122 on: June 06, 2005 08:25:16 PM
alright so these earrings are mega awesome because you can wear two different colors and match them with your outfits. bonus points for multiple pierced ears.  Smiley sorry if this is awesomly simple and stupid but, it's here.

FIND YOUR PIN!!

FIND YOUR WIRE CUTTER THINGYS!! (( or borrow from dad, grandpa, neighbor, pastor, random man on street )) oh and scissors suck.

FIND AN EARRING TO COMPARE IT WITH!!

HOLD THEM LIKE THIS IN ONE HAND AND CUT WITH THE OTHER!!

ABRACA-WOW!!
normal earring backs should work, or just go buy a pack of those cylinder type rubber ones, like the ones that come behind the backs on earrings you buy at claires.

...tell me what ya'll think.

4  lego ipod speaker thingy ((updated)) in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by breakfastclub122 on: May 30, 2005 04:13:42 PM
so i was totally inspired by this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10689.0 and i knew i had some of those speakers lying around so i hunted them down and broke out the zillions of legos i have and came out with this puppy:

the back has two stacks of legos, the bigger one in the center to wind the wire from ipod to speakers on because its so long and the smaller one to store the eadbuds. the speakers arent mega-powerful, but my goal was to be able to use my ipod as an alarm clock or listen to it while like eating or whatever. tell me what you think, thanks.

UPDATE::
i've added more legos and a clock, so i didnt have to turn on my ipod every time i wanted to know what time it was...

5  FULLY FUCTIONAL ipod case (Not Cozy) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by breakfastclub122 on: May 15, 2005 01:59:18 PM
i started by cutting a piece of plastic out of a Ziploc baggie (one of the thicker storage ones) the size of my mini with some flaps so it covers the whole thing (sides, top, bottom, etc.) and taping it on with the back side of the tape on the mini so it isn't actually sticking to it.[[you can see the black tape in the second pic]] i added stickers but they started peeling off so i put some clear packaging tape over it. i ended up cutting the flaps off the top and bottom because they were getting in the way. it's pretty cool if you're looking for a way to customize your ipod without ruining it or spending $30. not a lot of drop protection but it protects the face and click wheel.
