1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Possible to make yr own backpack? on: October 11, 2012 11:56:02 PM
Hey all. I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to make your own backpack. I mean one that really holds up. I mean to give it as a gift to a little one for her birthday but I want it to be functional. Maybe you have some tips on how to secure the zips and such? I  noticed this little tubing that is often on backpacks but I don't know what it is called or why I need it. Basically I am just at the starting point! Want to see if it's feasible. I'm aiming for something like the grey haitop bag over here, with the multiple zips and the cut in design on the front. Different materials though, a bit more of a girly print. I want it look like it was made just for her but something she can use and her friends won't make fun of her or anything lol

And here I thought I was creative. I never would have thought of that. That is really cool. How about having your favourite literary quotes on the next one? It would make people come up close and pay attention. And it would be inspiring

Wow this is totally something that I'd buy. In fact it reminds me of a dress I was totally tempted by on this local fashion store in malaysia that carries some really fashionable stuff. Doing a great job girl! Very classic feminine dress you've made their. And that first photo is absolutely gorgeous.

Oh I forgot to say. I make cards, paint glass (bottles and stuff) for gifts. I've done some murals but other than that I don't use paint too much. I draw a lot and make my own decor... But my favourite is graphic design -- only it's bad for the eyes whereas all the others are an awesome way to spend time.

Very smart! I like it. Takes the decision-making part out and puts something fun in its place. Very nice!
