1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Natural Remedies for Hair on: January 25, 2013 07:22:58 AM
YES I've done these experiments myself as a horticulturalist~ Enjoy!!!!

Aloe vera: Thinning hair or just to grow faster

Olive Oil: Restores protien to the hair. ( Small amount because it's hard to rinse & strong smell)

Apple Cider vinager or Beer: Wash in COLD water to get shiny hair effect ( but smells funny)

Avacado: Acts like a conditioner, restoring protiens. ( Use 2 times a week)

Mayo: mix with avacado for conditioning AND rid of lice. Comb with a small toothed comb

Lemon Juice: turns hair blond

Henna: turns hair bluish-black, need special shampoo and can't mix with other dyes.

Honey and sugar: Rid of hair but might develope spider veins.
