192  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Dorky boyfriend hard to craft for! on: November 03, 2005 07:24:16 PM
Ok, so my boyfriend is the KING dork. He not only plays Dungeons And Dragons, and Mage The Awakening and Vampire The Masquerade he is the LEADER of them. He's a very...uh...fiery person and he can't hold still. He's into punk/gothy things and he's got an adoration for Cheese from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends (He likes to quote the like "I like chocolate milk!") He's into pagan stuff, mostly Druid stuff and I wanna make him something as an "I love you honey and I appreciate what you do for me" gift because as of late he's been stressing a lot and trying to help others with their problems along with dealing with is own, and mine and it's causing him to get a very itchy rash. o.O;; Yeah...I think he needs a good pick-me-up. Any ideas?
193  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: how to make a petticoat for underneath a long skirt? on: June 30, 2005 12:26:25 PM
Try making a circle skirt from the tulle the same length as your skirt and add layers until it's a poofy as you want. Lace on the edges are a nice touch too.  Grin add elastic to the edges as you want...you can also pleat the tulle to make it even poofier!!  That's how I make quick petticoats.

o__o I SO didn't think of that! That's a brilliant idea....
195  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: dress or skirt? on: June 30, 2005 11:17:37 AM
Well, you could always make it into like...a two piece deal. Like make a top with the top half and then have a skirt so that you'd have a cute set if you wanted to.

I have this GREAT Penguin Shirt my mommy got me at the thrift store today, and it's too large for my taste and I don't like normal t-shirts...Any suggestions on what I should do with it?

200  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help, please! on: May 13, 2005 06:02:22 PM
I had that problem too. The trick is to lightly cut the first time and then go over that, at least that's what I did. It takes a little time that way, but in the end it'll look nicer. Good luck!!
