1  Follow the yellow brick road... in Crochet: Completed Projects by Shallelerilla on: October 10, 2007 10:54:52 PM
I was watching The Wizard of Oz and I needed something to keep busy. I decided to crochet some slippers and as if by the will of the Gods, I had sparkly red yarn. It was destiny. 2 hours later, I had slippers that rock.

Yarn used was Bernat's Ping Pong.

I added the purple just to keep things interesting... that and red and purple look fabulous together.

Now please be kind, I'm a knitter not a crocheter. The pattern was taught to me by my grandmother, I added the straps for to keep them on better.

2  Red Flora in Knitting: Completed Projects by Shallelerilla on: September 16, 2007 09:03:42 PM

The yarn was Red Heart Super Saver in red. The button was painted with my nail polish and I like how it breaks up the colour some.

What do you kids think?

3  Look what my mommy made! =D in Knitting: Completed Projects by Shallelerilla on: September 12, 2007 08:28:45 PM
Her first toe up socks!

Are the ends weaved in? No.

Are there still holes to be patched up from the heel turn? Yes.

Are they my size? No.

Have I been wearing them since she gave them to me? Heck yeah!!

They're made with Paton's Classic Wool in Navy which is comfy, warm, and fun to wear right after a shower. Wool is yummy.

6  Dulcimer Case!! =D in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Shallelerilla on: September 20, 2006 02:29:30 PM
My mommy made me a new dulcimer case and I thought I'd share it's awesomeness with the world!

Before, my Dulcimer was cold and naked.

But now...

It's warm and happy!!

She made the case from an old pair of overalls from the thrift store, the inside is a red plaid flannel and it's got high loft batting to make it safe for my stringed friend. Now I can travel with my instrument! Yaay!

8  First official Project Post!! **PHOTO FAT** in Knitting: Completed Projects by Shallelerilla on: September 01, 2006 07:57:13 PM
Yeah, please do be kind. This is my first true project post...

It's the Skull Illusion Scarf! It's intended for my Boy, but I think I want it.

Camera shook. Dang it.

Crappy quality pic of me rawkin' the scarf.

Check it!! The awesomeness of the illusion!!

Again, modling the awesome scarf.

OW! TOO BRIGHT!! But yeah, it hangs nicely at my hips. The length is fan-fucking-tastic!!

This is the first official knitting project completed for the school year. I think I may wear it the first few days of school before passing it on to the boy. I still need to block it anyways, that'll be my excuse to keep it for a while...>__>;;

What do ya think?
