1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Family on: September 24, 2012 08:30:39 PM
My brother's getting married in November and as a present for him and his soon-to-be wife, I wanted to embroider our family crest. Our heritage has always been important to us and it's the best way I can think of to welcome her into our family. This is just my practice piece. I had to try it out first. You can't tell very well from this picture, but a lot of my threads are loose from using a satin stitch. I was thinking of using a long and short stitch instead??? Any ideas?
