2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Delicious Easy Healthy Creamy Basil Chicken (whew!) on: September 06, 2007 08:43:34 AM
So I was playing around in the kitchen the other day and I came up with this recipe.  It's sooo good.  The boy was just crazy about it, even though it was good for him!  Hehe.  Not to mention quick and easy!  Yay!

-chicken breast
-italian seasoning
-fresh basil
-fat free sour cream
-salt

Pound your chicken breast flat.  Sprinkle with just a little salt ( i use kosher), then sprinkle with the italian seasoning.  Lay down a layer of whole basil leaves.  Cover the top with 1 to 2 tablespoons of the sour cream.  Sprinkle some more Italian seasoning on there.  Bake for about 15 minutes at 375!  Tada!  Serve with a hearty portion of broccoli.

Totals (for the chicken only):
-156 cals
-1g fat
-4g carbs
-28g protein

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / selling (tons of) supplies on etsy? or ebay? which would be better? please help! on: June 11, 2007 10:00:44 AM
okay, so my mom's friend's deceased mother in law used to own some kind of a craft store and now my mom's friend is stuck with tons and tons and tons of embroidery floss, aida cloth, frames for cross stitch, some embroidery kits, wool yarn, and other stuff as well.  They propositioned me saying if i could sell her stuff, not only would they give me a cut, but also i'd get to keep anything i wanted  Shocked!!  so needless to say i said yes  Wink

so my question is, do you think ebay or etsy would be a better place to try to sell it?  what would you be willing to pay for this stuff?  I don't do embroidery so i don't really know what the prices should be like.  I tried searching on etsy and ebay for past prices but it's going to take a lot of digging.  so while i was busy with that i wondered if you lovely ladies had any ideas for me Smiley  if i do do it on etsy i think i'll make a separate shop for it so i don't get too confused   Tongue

please help!

8  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Cutey cute Summery Amigurumi Deserts! on: April 27, 2007 08:15:34 PM
Hmm.. I hope it isn't bad luck to enter so early..  I know this is two things, but in the rules it said "Only one entry per poster, though you may incorporate multiple things into your one entry (such as with a set)" And I believe this to be a set of summer deserts.  It's okay right?  I hope so.

Anyway! After much trial and error I finally managed to make some yummy summer treats!  An ice cream with a little curl on top and lime popsicle!  Hooray!  They are very happy because they know they are too cute to get eaten  Cheesy

See the little softy servey curl?

And a waffley cone Smiley

Someone tasted the popsicle, but then he made big sad cute eyes and they had to stop to hug him  Cheesy  Now he is happy again!

I hope you like them!
