1  Texas / Texas: Central / Craft Store off Blanco?? on: August 28, 2012 03:43:58 PM
Hi there!
Has anyone ever rented out a space at the craft store off of Blanco.  Homestead Handcrafts... I think it is called?  If so, did you have any luck there?  Was it worth it to pay the monthly fee?

Thanks!

I plan to sell them at a craft show in November.  So, trying to build up inventory now.  I also have a few people from facebook that are interested in buying some, but again, I'm not sure how much to ask.  Some have suggested $35, and others have said $50.  So, I'm thinking $35 for the ones that didn't take as much time, and $45-$50 for the ones that were time consuming.  Thoughts?

Ha ha!!!  You can have those tarantulas any day!!!  Would you like some scorpions too?  This tarantula was HUGE... too big for me!  I will say that I know enough about them to want to keep this guy alive.  Smiley  I had a teacher friend who had them as class pets.  While I would NEVER have one as a pet, I do think they are neat... in a creepy kind of way!   How do you know so much about tarantulas?

Thanks!

4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Help with Pricing Please! on: August 27, 2012 10:05:59 AM
Hi Everyone!
I am new here, and looking for some advice!  I just quit teaching after 13 years and have started up my own business.  I recently bought 25 windows and am decorating them.  I have asked some friends for some advice on pricing these windows, and each one is giving me different prices.  I would love to know what you would price these at...  I've done three so far... check out my blog.. look for window #1, window #2 and window #3.  Would love to know if you'd price them all the same, or each one a different price.  By the way, each window is 2ft x 3ft.  So.. pretty large!
Blog site is http://therusticpig.blogspot.com

Thanks soooo much for your help!!!
