My friend Stephanie and I will be attending The Galleria Craft Fair this coming Saturday October 27th from 9 AM to 5 PM at Ignatius Hall in St. Raphael's Catholic Church located at 5801 Falls of the Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC.

There are going to be tons of vendors of various handmade items so please take an opportunity to stop by and support our local artists.

So considering the lack of craft shows opportunities here in the triangle I got the great idea of organizing one! Which sounds awesome in theory but the reality of it all is I need HELP!!!!

I'm working with a partner that has started getting estimates for venues and has spread the word with friends so that we can have a nice flow of customers. Now we need vendors, we are looking for about 10-20 vendors (depending on the space) that are up-and-comer crafters who need a platform to display their crafts, network and hopefully make some much needed profit. Believe me I know how hard it is to get your business off the ground so our ultimate goal is to make this event extremely successful.

I'll love to get ideas from fellow crafters who have organized events like this, who are familiar with licenses, insurance, and technicalities that most of us are not familiar with.
