1  Re: Cartoon Network Gallery in The Swap Gallery by BlueNeta on: February 25, 2013 04:12:37 AM
Finally, got around to upload to pictures!

So first off, I want to say bethimusprime did beyond my expectations and really made me happy with her amazing creations. So, Thank you so very much!  Grin

Aaaand onto the pictures of the goodies:

Closeups!

These are these amazing pocket warmers (that you put in the microwave and then they get all warm and nice), which are also lavender (?) scented. When I just opened the package it smelled so nice, thanks to these! It's one of the most original items I've seen on a swap, I'm going to steal this idea!

Lumpy Space Princess scarf!

LSP tote bag!!!

And some Fin earrings!

Everything is just so amazing and pretty, and also very usable - which I love! I'm just ecstatic with this. Thank you, bethimusprime!  Cheesy

2  The Picnic Coin Purse! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by BlueNeta on: December 01, 2012 12:01:05 AM
This is my first ever dabble with frames and gluing [oh, the horror...]

I lost my coin purse, and didn't have a spare one, so I decided I just have to make myself a new one! It turned out quite big, although this is actually the smallest frame I found. The fabric is a scrap I bought for about 2 dollars from a really expensive fabric store - usually it would cost me a small fortune! You gotta love scrap hunting  Cheesy

anyway, enough talk: the purse!

and a better view of the fabric:

and the other side [the pattern grows smaller!]

aaaaand finally, the lining! Which is why I think it's very picnic-like:

3  Re: Crocheters VS Knitters Swap 2012 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by BlueNeta on: November 21, 2012 01:21:08 PM
I GOT MY PACKAGE!!! ahhhh I'm so thrilled!
it was international delivery, so I'm impressed it got here so fast. But hey, I'm not complaining  Tongue

soooo, I got these:

An adorable platypus [my favorite animal ever], rainbow fingerless gloves, a matching rainbow hat, and an assortment of colorful buttons!  Grin

The gloves:

The hat [as demonstrated by my boyfriend]:

My hair is the same exact color as the last shade of purple in the hat, so it matches perfectly! The colors are so bright, I wish I had a better camera to capture the colors.

lastly, the best part - the platypus!

I like how it's so "meh"  Cheesy

I also got a note in this gorgeous purple envelope, but I ran out of battery before I could take any pictures of it.

Thank you so much Whysteria! I absolutely loved everything and I'm going to rock those matching rainbows all the time!

4  Crochet hooks organizer in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by BlueNeta on: October 13, 2012 06:16:27 PM
I'm pretty new to posting on the forums, so I hope it's the right board to post this  Tongue

I was getting tired of having nowhere convenient to put my hooks in, and didn't like any of the crocheted organizer patterns I saw, so I decided to sew an organizer! I haven't touched my sewing machine in over a year, so the seams aren't as great as they can be, but I'm pretty happy with the result.  Cheesy

Fruit Cake! the fabric actually has cake recipes printed on it.

close up on the tapestry needles pouch. not the most amazing sewing, I know, but at least the fabric is really cute!

and finally - closed! I'm going to replace the button though, it's only temporary since I had a very limited variety of buttons at hand when I made this. I'll probably go for a huge pink button [gotta love pink!]  Wink

5  Hats galore! in Knitting: Completed Projects by BlueNeta on: October 12, 2012 07:15:30 AM
Hi everyone! I started knitting a few months ago, and I'm hooked ever since. I've been knitting a lot of hats, which are really fun to do since they're such a quick and useful project. Here's some of the hats I've knitted:

And another one from the same pattern:

A tassel hat!

and from above

sorry for some of the pictures being a bit lousy, I don't have someone to help me photograph them most of the time.
that's it for now  Smiley

6  A very huggable Platypus in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by BlueNeta on: September 28, 2012 03:58:29 PM
This is my first post on craftster, I'm so excited! Cheesy

I made this little fella a few weeks ago. The platypus is probably my favorite animal of all times, but I don't see a lot of platypus amigurumi out there [except for perry the platypus ones]. It came out unbelievably huggable, so I'm quite happy about this little one  Grin
