1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Discussion and Questions / Memorial Stone for a Pet on: September 04, 2012 01:28:32 PM
Hi,

First off I would like to say hello! This is my official first post. I have been lurking around for a little bit and just looking at all the beautiful things everyone makes! I hope to soon contribute some of my own. And maybe with my question answered I will post an update with a picture of the final product.

My mother-in-laws pet Chihuahua passed away on August 27th. She was a big part of all of our family - she was 17 years old!! So needless to day she turned into a sibling more than a pet!

I want to create a memorial stone for her. I have all the materials to do the stone part, but what I am wanting to do is mount a picture of her in the stone - with a protective layer to save from the weather.

What kind of product do I look for to coat over top of the photo? Even over the whole stone?
