1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Boxes with Needlework inserts? on: April 25, 2010 06:28:47 AM
I'm looking for an online supplier of boxes, wood or ceramic, that have lids which allow you to insert your own needlework piece.  I'm sorry I don't have a picture to explain... maybe someone knows what I mean??

Very pretty!  How many skeins of Cotton Ease did this take?
3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: deleting unavailable photos on: January 17, 2010 01:17:51 PM
In older threads I'm seeing more and more Photobucket alerts saying the image isn't available because the person hasn't accessed their account in 90+ days.  Do the mods want to be notified of these or should we ignore them?

Here's an example:

4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: A bloody mess on: September 17, 2009 05:38:10 AM
Well, Hershey's if you plan to eat it too!  But any chocolate syrup will probably do in a pinch!

I my theater days we used red food coloring and chocolate syrup-- makes for thicker, darker "blood."
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Seeking picture frame source on: July 29, 2009 11:34:35 AM
Yep, 4x4 only-- wonky size, I know.  But dollartree is a good suggestion... I hadn't thought to look at my local dollar store.  Thanks!

ETA: With further consideration, 5x5 would work as well.  Unfortunately, the cheapest I've found are at Ikea for $8/each.  I'd love to find them a bit cheaper....
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Seeking picture frame source on: July 26, 2009 08:08:56 AM
I'm seeking a source for very inexpensive picture frames (4x4, wood, black, ideally under $5 each because I need 26 of them!).  I've looked at Ikea, AC Moore, Michaels, did a Google search-- I'm hoping one of my fellow Craftsters knows of a reliable online source for frames at rock bottom prices!

Thanks!

Would white pipe cleaners work for the stems?  Those are pretty light....
9  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Going to a blog instead of posting on Craftster on: April 15, 2009 11:46:50 AM
There's one poster who's a repeat offender for this sort of thing.  I just keep hitting "report to mod"...
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: kimono style sweater on: February 26, 2009 08:50:35 AM
Very pretty-- what sort of knit stitch is that?  It looks crocheted!
