I received a wonderful swap package from militant pacifist today.  Behold the wonder!

First, my dog intrigued by this mysterious parcel from Holland!  I was told to be on the lookout for an "expensive" looking package... Can you see the beautiful foreign currency wrapping paper?

Inside, more pretty wrapping!

Some gorgeous postcards, each accompanied by a detailed explanation.  A mini-education on Holland!

The candy motherlode!!  I've never tried any of these before-- so much fun!

Two kinds of yarn, a great picture frame (Ikea!!), a rubber duckie doctor (I love rubber duckies!), socks with a Russian doll motif (my Russian stepmother is going to covet these for sure).

Finally, the piece de resistance... Dutch clog slippers!!!  Action shot!

Love it all so much!  Thank you!!!!

I received a terrific package from mini (Switzerland) today!

Among the goodies: a craft magazine, two children's books, a book of crepe recipes, two pretty flower magnets, two gorgeous postcards, a cute bookmark, lavender bath stuff, perfume, and lots of chocolates!!

Sadly, a chocolate bunny and a package of cookies were victims of postal abuse and did not survive.

Here's a close up of the beautiful postcards:

Thanks mini!

I received this great package from knit_north today.  The box was just crammed with goodies: there's a few types of fun yarns for my yarn scrap pillow in progress, a sweater pattern, some pretty velvety ribbon, some tea, chocolate sauce, spicy tofu mix, poetry magnets, info on caribou (a very important animal in knit_north's part of the world  Smiley), a toy fishing game, and a marzipan mouse (very cute)!

Thanks so much-- this was great fun!!!
