1  Leather Monsters pups, and a weirdo in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by ibenu on: May 08, 2015 06:15:00 PM

I want to say thanks to all the makers here. Seeing all the great plush and dolls was a real motivator to get making a few years back.. These guys are some makings from this spring-- and the odd yellow eyes fella is a pattern Im working on for a chubby fella with attitude.

The way you did the eyes on the bear and pup is brilliant!  They're all super cute.

Thank you--Much trial and error-Even if patterning is simple, eyelids bring a character nothing else quite will:)

6  Leather Monsters week 75 in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by ibenu on: January 20, 2014 04:46:06 AM
It has been a most fun year and some working away on these beasties for leathermonsters.com. Happily there has been some real progress on being able to get leather to do what I would like it to do, given it acts so differently from fabrics I've worked with in the past. The last picture shows some glass Ball joint doll eyes I will incredibly be incorporating into the wee art dolls. I hope to be share the first patterns from my earlier post very soon. Thanks for any feedback in advance.
