1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / New Hand Painted Beads! on: August 11, 2012 11:30:45 AM
Here are some close ups of my newest beads! I hand paint each bead using a porcupine quill on recycled wooden beads. I use craft acrylic because it is thinner than regular acrylic and then dip the beads in a special thick dip on a contraption I made that rotates up to 100 beads at a time. Rotating is the only way to really get the dip evenly coated. They are lightweight and make great focal beads. I would love some feedback!

2  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Newsletters on: August 11, 2012 11:14:44 AM
Hi - pretty new here...

I would like to know how everyone uses their newsletter/mailing list.

Do you send out a once a month long letter with content. Just periodic sales notices? A letter to your customers" Pictures of your pets? I am jsut curious as to how people use their mailing list and what some creative ideas may be to sustain and increase readership. Do you enjoy newsletters or are they a chore?

Be Inspired!
Sandra
