Hey, guys! I read through all 16 pages: awesome costume ideas!

For a while I had been thinking about being either a(n awesome) ghost or a person in black&white.
For the ghost I was thinking I could dress all in white or light shades of grey, wearing a fancy white up-do wig, white face paint, an old-timey white dress, white gloves, white stockings, and white shoes.
Or, for someone in black and white, I was taking my inspiration from the movie Pleasantville. I was thinking thinking I could wear a black or  - preferably - dark grey wig, light grey face paint, some sort of 50s style dress in more shades of grey, gloves, etc.

BUT now I don't think I'm going to go with either. I'm taking a costume design class at school and our next assignment is to do a costume that's somehow Renaissance inspired. Well, Renaissance up to 1799, in Europe, which spans a lot of styles. It doesn't have to be authentically Renaissance, just influenced by it in some way. So now I'm thinking about being either a super-amazing green and blue faerie with gauntlets and Renaissance sleeves or a Robot with antique details. I'm kind of wary about the faerie because I've been one for Halloween about 3 times (though not in recent years), but I'd really like to do it right. Being a robot is kind of generic but that's sort of the point, I guess, to take something ordinary and make it awesome. But either way the costume will only be as awesome as my imagination, skills, and time allow and I'm a bit worried, especially concerning those two last factors.
I hope I inspired someone. Anybody got any ideas for me?

Oh man, this is pretty much the most amazing thing I've seen in, well, a long while!!! So detailed! And the original plates ^^. I wish I could find more people in my area who are into SPN :\. I can't wait for season four!!!

Wow! I'm glad to see some interest! Sign-ups mid-January, send-outs early March? Is that good for everyone?

Hmm. I'd personally prefer a sign up slightly earlier (like the second week of January?) since I start back school on the 23rd and I'm nervous about my workload this semester.
If a later send out works better for everyone else, though, I still might be up for it. This sounds like it will be a lot of fun ^_^.

So I guess we should change this swap to the "Fairy Tale Swap 2" (3?) since there were some other  swaps previously?
