So, so behind on people's projects, but I've gotta say...
That TARDIS yarn dispenser is amazing!
Lovin' that dream journal! So much patience --- not sure I could do that. Wink
And those Mythbuster hoops!  Cheesy I'm not sure if they will count or not, but I think they're awesome!!

Sooo many amazing projects!! I'm working on a few things, though I can't think of anything to do for an owl!  Huh I tend to obsess over large projects, spending a few days working on nothing else until they're done. I may have to skip the owl badge.  Undecided

also... less craftalong specific and just more me being rubbish with computers... how do you make the links you post have a different text than http://the_web_address_I'm_linking_to.com ?

I think maybe this post about signatures from PinkLeo might help!
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Softies vs. Felties on: September 03, 2012 10:15:24 PM
Softies can be made of felt, but felties can't be made of fleece.  Wink Cheesy

It's really just comes down to preference; Softies, Plushies, they're all the same, I think felties just came about to give them a sort of sub-category for those cute things made entirely out of felt.
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Alice in Wonderland inspired poseable doll. on: September 03, 2012 08:14:52 PM
Beautiful!  How did you joint the arms and legs? She poses and stands wonderfully!

Sorry about the late reply! Thanks so very much!! Her head, arms and feet/boots are sculpted on wire which is then wrapped together with more wire then wrapped again in pipe cleaners for body bulk before being 'dressed'.

She's adorable, I love the drink me vial. How on earth did you make it?

I'm not sure if you mean Alice (if so, see above  Cheesy Cheesy) or the drink me vial; the vial is just a tiny little jar I bought on etsy and filled with some iridescent glitter, clear glue and coloured with paint. ^__^

Hope I'm not too late!~

Challenge: Beater
House: Ravenclaw
Project Name: Alice poseable art doll

I've worked with polymer clay on and off (mostly off  Cheesy) for about two years but have only really made charms and things of that ilk. I decided to try my hand at a pose-able art doll. So many new techniques to try! She is just a touch over 6 inches (not including her crazy hair) and was inspired by Alice in Wonderland - hopefully that's kind of obvious! - in a sort of Marie Antoinette meets Tim Burton style.  Cheesy  I made so, so many mistakes while making her -- err, I mean I learned so much of what not to do on the next one.  Cheesy  She even has her own little drink me vial.

Challenge: Broomstick
Project Name: Nimbus clay charm

More polymer clay!~ This tiny little Nimbus broomstick is roughly the same length as a sewing pin.

And finally,
Challenge: DADA; Defeat a Boggart.  Craft something inspired by one of your greatest fears
Project Name: Clay Dark Mark

I must admit my greatest fear is losing a loved one and I cannot imagine the horror of seeing a dark mark hovering over my home. I probably took this challenge too literally,  Wink but I'm happy with how it turned out. Polymer clay & gold paint.

Hii!~

I mostly make charms from polymer clay, but I decided to try my hand at making a poseable art doll. It was quite the learning curve and not everything went to plan but I'm mostly happy with how she turned out though I wish the paint job on her face turned out better; I am kind of new to painting and I didn't realize colours would dry so much darker than how they appear wet.  Undecided  I also need to hunt down some tiny brushes - tiny details are hard with big brushes, lol~!

She is a little over 6 inches tall, not including her hair. She can move her arms and legs and sit or stand on her own. I also made her a little 'drink me' vial and she apparently stole The Mad Hatter's hat. Wink   She is sort of a cross in style of Marie Antoinette and Tim Burton.  Wink Cheesy

Thanks for looking!~
