1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Impress Nail Bottles on: October 21, 2013 02:24:35 AM
If they are deep enough, I am thinking lip gloss or solid perfume.
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Thousands of crayons?? on: July 23, 2011 12:17:31 PM
I like the slicing up idea but using that to do a mosaic of some sort and of course with primary colors anything is possible.  Also it would lend itself very well to some kind of mock stained glass effect.

I would definitely try to put some in separate lots on Ebay.  Some art teacher would probably love to have a box load of primary crayons.

I would love to be in on this one.  I have wanted to do a daisy square afghan for a long long time.   This gives me some time to figure it out and decide on my colors.  Smiley
6  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Ripple along on: September 18, 2010 08:15:46 PM
I started this one in some blue tones and purples that I had lying around and I think I hate it.  I was planning on making the stripes wider as it moved to the center and then back to narrow on the other end.  I don't know if I am going to make it.  It is very very wide and I am not crazy about the color right now.

Any thoughts?

Do you really call ist Hkelbeutel in english -> funny. Cause in Germany chrochet is called Hkeln and a bag can be called Beutel too

How funny, I put my new crochet bag bag...Anyway, that's what the pattern is called.  I had heard once before, not speaking german myself, that this is the translation.
