2  A trip to the Zoo- AKA long overdue swap pics! in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by Bobolink on: July 12, 2007 02:08:55 PM
I never posted all the pics of the amazing ATCs I got from the PAT swap 1. Since that gallery is probably long closed I thought I'd post them here so they could get the admiration they deserve.
(Racky or Stiffy you can let me know if that's not kosher)
From Katxena: Snake! and From SquirrelGirl: Zebra

From Alteredmommy Rhinoceros  and from RecycleMicol Bobcat

And I did post these in the gallery, but they complete the set
Rackycoo Monkey and OriginalYouth Lion

And now for the amazing ATCs by Liebschien. Can you guys believe they are her first!!!!! They are already in my ABC ATC album. Liebschien I really encourage you to post them in the ATC thread, you are so talented at them they deserve to be admired by the ATC "in-crowd"
P- Pineapple and Q- Quince

R- Raspberry (so funny and clever) S- Sushi (Those are real pieces of rice glued on and I love how it kind of looks like an owl)

T for tea (this is my favorite! I love the colors and the geisha theme and there was a real tea bag glued to the back!!) and U is for umbrella (In case it doesn't come across that is real 3D origami.) These two look SO perfect alongside each other in the book!

Here are the yoga socks in action. They make a little more sense on feet, otherwise they just look like a silly tube with slits Smiley

Samsara  I promise I'd just taken a shower before I modeled them!

Here is the vintage travel card I sent to Katxena, it's from some vintage german postcards I got in a country swap- that I further distressed (sanded) to make more vintage.

THanks for posting my Masquerade card RM. The card is based on a woman of mystery where you see her face, but because of her mask really cannot see who she is. I went very colorful since to me masquerade's should be bright and shiny. I hope it works with your collection, I think I may have missed the "vintage" part  Undecided

9  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap (round 7!) now to Jan 21 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Bobolink on: January 19, 2007 11:40:06 AM
Ok here are my mini-notes. I decided to make them in advance instead of custom since I decided I wanted to check out the popularity of different prototypes. They are 3inch x 3inch, hardcover with mixed papers.
Note they say: Treats, Design, Sing sweetly, laugh and brainstorm

Here are the different paper styles:
Mod/burlap for the chocolate and the Design

Polka dot and striped for the bird and cherry blossoms

and circusy for the circus cats

I'm in!
So excited about this.
Item #1- Hand knit Mr. Square mascot, see bottom of the photo:

Note- I can make him into a magnet, into a keychain, into a purse charm or stuff him extra fat for a pin cushion.
Item #2- 3.5x5inch hand bound hard cover notebook, with mixed or colorful paper. I gave a few for Christmas presents so am trying to get photos to post. I will have a selection of decorative papers for you guys to choose from and can custom the lettering too. Basically I'll premake the booklets, but do the covers to order. Since I might not have enough of one paper to make 5 covers you guys can let me know your top 3 choices for cover in order and I can probably give everyone at least their first or second choice.
