1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / stuffed puppy pattern on: April 02, 2006 08:17:50 PM
Hello.  I searched & searhed & searched to no avail.  Does anyone have or know of a knit pattern out there for a stuffed dog?  Preferably puppy-ish, maybe like a lab or something, idk, it's for a 5 year old boy who requested it as a gift for his big 5th birthday.    Any help would be appreciated.  Preferably a free pattern if possible.

Thanks!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / T-shirts to toddler dresses? on: June 29, 2005 11:57:25 PM
So, that's my idea.  Not a great sewer...
Can anyone tell me some quick easy patterns or ideas?  Think this would even work?  Would the material drape right?  I'm so clueless.

Thanks!

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Help can't remember what mag this pattern was in.... on: June 11, 2005 11:35:08 PM
So, I don't have a picture or anything but maybe someone will know.  A few months ago I was in AC Moore and I only had enough money to get one magazine so I chose Knit 1, I believe the summer issue.  Anyway, at the time there was a pattern that I sooo wanted to make but I didn't get back in time to get that magazine.  So does anyone know what I'm talking about and what it was in, I REAAALLLLLYYYYYY want to make it....

It was like a shawl of 2 rectangles that was open across the shoulders and had like two thin spaghetti strap pieces that held it up, not sure if there were side seams or not.  Ring any bells?  Would appreciate any help!!!

Thanks!!!

5  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Big coffee filters on: June 10, 2005 12:25:20 PM
Hello!  I figured since you all are so incredibly ingenious ( I feel so uncreative here, lol ) that I should ask you all about something many of us at my job have been trying to come up with for a while now.  Anyway, on to the question, we have TONS of large coffee filters because the coffee people send so many extras.

Any ideas on cool crafty things that can be done with them, besides the paper flowers, because honestly there are only so many of them one can make or use!

Thanks for anything you can come up with.

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Ballet wrap style sweater on: May 11, 2005 09:07:36 PM
Sort of a cardigan that ties around the bottom like a wraparound skirt would.

I am dieing to make one like that, but haven't found a pattern or been able to come up with my own that really worked out right.  Anyone know of a pattern?

**preferably a crochet pattern, but simple knitting wouldn't be too bad.

 Huh
