3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / stuffed puppy pattern on: April 02, 2006 08:17:50 PM
Hello.  I searched & searhed & searched to no avail.  Does anyone have or know of a knit pattern out there for a stuffed dog?  Preferably puppy-ish, maybe like a lab or something, idk, it's for a 5 year old boy who requested it as a gift for his big 5th birthday.    Any help would be appreciated.  Preferably a free pattern if possible.

Thanks!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / T-shirts to toddler dresses? on: June 29, 2005 11:57:25 PM
So, that's my idea.  Not a great sewer...
Can anyone tell me some quick easy patterns or ideas?  Think this would even work?  Would the material drape right?  I'm so clueless.

Thanks!

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Two summer tops! on: June 29, 2005 08:46:57 PM
Um, ok.   This could be a stupid question, and it may be what you meant about the velcro, but I'm gonna ask anyway.  I'm not really a "sew-er" because I could never get the hang of my sewing machine, so I do everything by hand so it is very time consuming.  Anyway, let me stop rambling.

On the peach top, does it fasten in the back or is the band just sorta stretchy so u pull it on like a tank?
If it does fasten, how did you go about that?  I'm thinking of making this as a top for myself, but also as a "princess" for my 3 year old.  She's going through a dress phase (all called princesses) and currently steals all my longish tank tops to wear.

Also, sorry for all the questions, and babbling, but, would t-shirt material drape well for the whole top?

Thanks for the info, and again, sorry for being so annoying.

Um at the risk of sounding stupid or something.......  what exactly does threading your upper lip mean?  And what is a sugar recipe?  Sugar is sugar, no?

Sorry, just a little confused I guess.
