11  Re: Lined woven magazine handbag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by cottonpatch on: August 07, 2006 09:33:38 AM
Oh the atlas one sounds cool!  Can't wait to see if someone makes it.  Anyway, here is my attempt at one.  I used some plastic tubing for the handles, very inexpensive, and I attempted to stitch it to the bag, only because I couldn't find my velcro!  Cry  I didn't sew it very straight..lol, other than that it worked out good.  I used a heavy duty needle and had no problems.

13  fabric origami purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by cottonpatch on: May 11, 2005 01:30:23 PM
this is an origami purse I made with a matching wallet and checkbook holder, it was so fun and easy to make all I had to do was stiffen the fabric so it would fold, and follow some origami diagrams I found on the web!  This is my first project that I have posted here on craftster so be kind... lol... I hope these links work...
