This is AMAZING! I'm a collector of all things rhino, and I used to have a resin rhino head that was from a beer company... I was so sad when it broke, but this is waaaaaaay better! I may have to try my hand at this someday. Thank you for sharing!!
That Bob Dylan and Ron Weasley are just adorable! and all of the tiny, tiny things are sooo cute! Who would ever think to make a stuffed incubator?!? Amazing, just amazing...
Wow! I just spent 2 hours looking through this entire gallery! You all are amazing! I may finally be getting up the nerve to get in to a swap... All of those potion cabinets and adorable stuffed Snapes have really gotten me motivated! Fantastic job!!
I've been admiring swap galleries for 6 years, but this one makes me want to get all of my required posts, so I can particpate in a swap! All of these are amazing!! I love all things tiny, and the little felties and amis are awesome!
Thank you all for the wealth information in this thread! I received my Yudu yesterday (or Yoda as my gf calls it: "tshirts make you will" lol) and cannot wait to get started.
I used to work at a screenprinting shop and have been thinking of setting up a mini shop in my basement for a few years now, but just haven't have the funds to dedicate to it, but I found the yudu on amazon for $127 with free shipping and couldn't pass it up!
Has anyone found a good liquid emulsion they could share? I saw a post about the yudu hack kit, but I'd rather just buy the recommended brand directly...
Thank you to everyone who posted their experiences with this machine! It definitely helps me to think that this may be a worthwhile purchase, especially if I can get it at a good price!
If you live near Toronto, there is a wonderful Metalsmitihing school at Georgian in Barrie... I live in NW PA, and seriosly considered going there, but it's way expensive for a "foreign student" hahaha. You should look into it! I'm currently in the middle of my first metal fabricating class at a University near me, and it's the most fun and the best investment I've made in a long time... Good Luck!
Haha, HP nerd here, too! I think you should stencil Hermione on a shirt with her quote regarding Viktor Krum... It was something like "they wouldn't look twice at him if he couldn't do that wonky-faint thing" I loved that. I laughed so much, I almost made Wonky Faint my AIM name! Be sure to post what you decide to do.
I also read that Ready Made article, and I'm looking forward to someone posting pics of a finished product. Anything that we can do to re-use beer bottles would be great, and who would have ever thought of glasses? Every day I stop in here I am completely blown away by everyone's crafty brilliance!
