81  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Covert Art Abandoner's Swap (SU 8/1/12-8/15/12 ; MAIL BY 9/30/12). on: August 01, 2012 06:10:55 PM
Really love this idea. I work on a college campus and think that found-art will be a great stress reliever for students.
82  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Felt Badge Round 2 Gallery!! (Send Out July 9) on: August 01, 2012 05:41:17 PM
The badges posted are so cute that I can see how people become addicted to creating and swapping them. It is rather scary for a newbie to try, but I hope to join in the swaps at some point. Congratulations to all.
83  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ring Display on: July 30, 2012 05:04:54 AM
Glad you made a mistake posting it because I never would have seen it in the jewelry category.
84  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Anybody ready for the next round of Spell My Name? on: July 27, 2012 04:52:04 AM
I'd really like to participate (despite my short name) and really hope that you'll allow first time swappers to join.
85  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Has anyone tried an Adapted Tea Cup swap? on: July 26, 2012 04:44:57 PM
I love the items that so many people have made from matchboxes and because I have so many random teacups, I was wondering if anyone had tried to start a swap that used teacups as the base item. There's a famous surrealistic fur covered teacup and I've certainly seen many pin cushions in tea cups, but it seems there should be more opportunities.
86  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: I love animals that dress up - so I make them! on: July 26, 2012 04:23:20 PM
Just found your faux taxidermy and really like it. Great job.
87  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: gift bows! (yet another way to recycle magazines) tutorial added and more pics on: July 26, 2012 08:14:53 AM
Great tutorial. Looks like a really fun craft and at least it will be an inexpensive addiction.

Truly a piece of art. It belongs in the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC.

I love the integration of the real gears with the paper. The combination of  real with imagined really brings the viewer into the fantasy.
