2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Faux Gem Polymer clay Necklace on: July 21, 2012 08:51:52 AM
That day I was just finished an animal figure and ready to take a break, and suddenly saw a pic of vintage necklace with figure carved in low relief, the idea just appeared in my mind. Why can't I use polymer clay to copy the maste painting in to necklace, but 20 minutes later, I find out that impossibel for me to do it...(Im reading the art of polymer clay, I guess it has some affect on me)

So, I give up the painting idea and decided to use the base to creat some polymer clay faux gem.

Starry night Necklace

I mixed some translucent clay with green clay

Started to play with polymer clay 2 weeks ago, and love the material. First I tried some miniature charms for practice, them I make some Jeweley. Most Recently I begin to make Animal Figures.

I'm so glad to find this place, everyone here is so passion. That makes me wanna do more works, too.
