Oh, I haven't gotten that far... the rest of my yarn is oh hold at the store... blah..

I hope they're not too bad... I also heard all the problems with the chain... I'm so glad I read up before starting it, because thus far, I've had no problems... *knock on wood*

Yeah, I'm using Tahki Cotton Classic on mine, and it's working up nicely.  The lighter yarn is definitely the way to go, because even with the light stuff, it's still pretty heavy.

yeah, I'm not going to buy it either, I was very disappointed as well.  My library has it though so I may check it out.

I started on my project not too long after reading this around the beginning of the month.  My main problem is, the thrift store sweater I bought in October, I had already ripped out and rolled into balls of yarn.  Thus, no picture of the starting item.  It was a chunky Gap sweater, and I've tried to find a photo of it online, but so far no luck.  Does this disqualify me?  Blah...

wow... these are great!  I plan on getting a sphynx kitty, and my evil plan is to make it sweaters, especially with fun fur.  My current kitties though would most likely attempt to scratch me to death if I came near them with a sweater.

Oh this is so cute!  I don't blame you for not wanting to part with it!
