I was wondering if the Yarn Therapy group is still current...  I moved to the Orlando area about a year ago,and I knit and crochet, and other various crafts.  I have a craft habit.

I'm hoping this group is still ongoing, because I love Infusion Tea.

Hope to hear from you ladies soon.

For anyone that's seen Twilight, remember Bella's hat when she went to La Push?  It was really cute.  For some reason, I can't find any photos of it online.

Has anyone had better luck finding photos? Or even better, a pattern?

Thanks bunches.

Here are some projects I've finished, and one big pain in my rear...

First, the pain...
This is my progress so far on the Troubador socks from the spring Interweave.
The top:

Bottom:

and ankleish-y-whatever area:

It was going fine, and then I got the the ankle bit.  I'm making these for my mom in a small, but for some reason the ankle part is too tight. ack!  I really am going to hate ripping it....

Now that the pain is through, a sweater I finished in February.  I scored this yarn at mucho discount because sadly, my favorite lys was closing...
The sleeves are Noro Sakura #5 and the body is Ella Rae Shibu in Tan.
This sweater is so comfy!

Here's the color detail of the sleeves:

And the back:

The pattern is a modified version of the Jolly Roger in Happy Hooker.

I fell in love with the Sakura, but sadly this stuff was discontinued in Spring 2006 (according to yarndex).  I figured if one store may have it, then maybe the others would.. I searched and then bought the remaining supply in the city.  Grin

And perhaps my favorite thing I've made to date........

The pattern is from Not Your Mama's Crochet, and I believe it's called the 'Too Good for Your Boyfriend sweater'.

It worked up surprisingly fast.
When I was sewing up the sweater and got to the front bit, I decided to add the buttons since the stitching was open enough to do so.

They were pretty little things and I wanted to use them, and I loved the color combo when paired with the sweater.

And the bit I'm most proud of on this sweater...

Let's just say that when I saw the pattern in the book I freaked out.  I love skulls and this was the perfect opportunity to play around.

The main body is a salmon pink cotton yarn, that cheap cone stuff at walmart, the skull is my favorite white yarn, the sparkley Lion Brand stuff, and the other details are bits of Microspun and Caron Brights.

Thanks for looking everyone!  Let me know what you think.  Grin

Oh... and I 've been meaning to post this for a while... This is all I have for now, I still need to take close up photos of it.

I've got a Mad Hatter hat on... I made it from Lion Brand Suede and some felt as the 10/6 slip in the brim.   I finished it some time winter 2006, and this was during summer 2007.  I was celebrating my unbirthday since it was my day off.  Cheesy  I work at Walt Disney World seasonally. Best job ever!

Fantastic work!  I love the scarves... I am a bit of a scarf junkie.  Did you mention the book the pattern was found in?
