In their own right these paintings are frickin' awesome but the fact they are painted onto feathers blows me away. Great job!

It was very hard to find a safe for work quote but it was a great excuse to keep rewatching the third series.
4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Misfits UK Bowl and Mug Set on: July 01, 2012 08:47:46 AM
This is my first day as a member of Craftster after years of lurking. As an introduction to the site I thought I would share some geekcraft I created for my friends 25th Birthday earlier this year.

She is a massive fan of a TV programme called Misfits - it's the UK's answer to Heroes for those who have never watched it - in particular a character called Rudy. I bought a white mug and bowl and got to painting them with my ceramic paint pens. I wanted to use the skeleton characters from the opening credits as the main design but I also liked the idea of adding one of the (safe for work) Rudy quotes. Here are the end results:

I also made a few extra bits to go with these including a Mario Piranha Plant wine glass and a shrinkplastic Robin symbol keyring and packaged in a Mario Gift box. Here is a picture of the complete gift in case anyone is interested.
