1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Pimps&Hoe's Party Decorations, etc??! on: May 22, 2006 07:18:11 PM
Hey everyone!! My friends and I are having a Pimps and Hoe's party. We have a DJ, invites are made and costumes have been bought/made, but I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for decorations, games, special foods, or fun gift bags that we could do.
Its in a pretty large space and we have access to music, etc.
We are thinking about spraypainting a large sheet or paper with either a graffitti scene or just a skyline. Any other ideas?? Streamers?? Baloons?? Im at a loss for ideas. I want this to be fantastic.
If anybody has any other ideas for anything else that would be great too!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Any ideas or help at all is GREATLY appreciated.

4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / BOY BASHING swap on: October 02, 2005 12:35:44 PM
Guys can be a hassle. You have to admit, but you know how the old saying goes.." You can't live with them, and you cant live without them".

Soooooooo I was thinking it would be fun to have a sort of BOY BASHING swap. We could make boy bashing CD mixes and have maybe a turn on the I LOVE BOYS thing we could have I HATE BOYS or BOYS CAUSE PROMBLEMS shirts. I dunno. What do you guys think of my idea? Im not sure if I would be willing to organize......so by all means if you wish to, go right ahead!
5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Craftster of the Year Award? on: September 25, 2005 06:06:10 PM
I thought of this idea and thought it might be cool. I kind of thought maybe every 6 months to a year we could have a Craftster Award. If you see someone on craftster you think is doing great things or helps out a lot on here or has been a swap angle quite a lot. I was thinking that we could give them an award. I dont think it should be for great projects or anything because naturally we are craftsters so we are crafty!  Wink Cheesy I was thinking maybe someone could donate a sort of prize and everyone on craftster could nominate someone...not yourself though! Let me know what you think....I was just running it by everyone and I think those people deserve recognition for being great craftsters let alone great people! Smiley
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Add-to-my Traveling Journal..PLEASE!! on: August 30, 2005 04:39:48 PM
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in the sort of "unofficial swap" where I start a Journal and I send it to a person who would add something, like a little doodle, quote of inspiration, short story, etc. and then they would then send to the next person. It would go in a circle till it got back to me. If anyone is interested please let me know(PM ME)!! If you dont really understand what this is all about you can take a look at this link:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50555.0;topicseen It might give you a better understanding. Thanks in advance!!

EDITED:

*NOTE*   I am infact setting a limit to how many people we have send, just to make it easier to keep track of and not take FOREVER to get back to me! The limit is 25 people. So sign-up while there are still spots available!! Also there will be a limit as to how long you can keep the Journal--5 days.<----This part could pherhaps change. We will see.

7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Back-to-school party on: August 19, 2005 08:23:37 PM
I was thinking I would have a Back-To-School Party with all my girlfriends. I was thinking we could have a "What I hated about summer" Bonfire, where we throw anything we hated about summer ie. your final exam from summer school because you hated summer school. After we could roast marshmellows and tell stories. I was planning on sleeping out in a tent and maybe getting a TV out there so we could watch a movie. Do you guys think this is a good idea or we should just wing it. Most people tend to get tired and fall asleep after watching movies so I dont want that. I was thinking of getting some "classics" like the Lost Boys, Legally Blonde, Jawbreaker, Mean Girls. What do you think? Have any more good movie picks? I was also thinking of having a scavenger hunt either at night around my house with flashlights or around town in the middle of the day. Also the same old same old, Ding Dong Ditch, Prank Calls, and Truth or Dare. I was even thinking about making a time capsule and then doing this again next year where we would look at everything. Maybe even photo-albums of the summer days and a CD of fun summer songs as goodie bags?? PLEASE let me know! I really want some good ideas, and I know you crafsters are full of them! Grin
8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / "_______ in a box" Swap!!! on: August 15, 2005 01:53:02 PM
I though I had posted this idea already, and I was surprise no one had said anything about it. Then I searched and found it didnt exsist. Must have been in my dreams. Wink Anyway I was wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this. It could just be anything you wanted in a box. Like you could ask for Sleepover in a box, or mabye a Spa in a box. Just fun ideas. You can also check out the ongoing thread:

9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / "Im ready for another holiday" party theme on: August 10, 2005 12:52:21 PM
Hey,
I dont really know if i would do this for one of my party, but i thought it was a cute idea. I was thinking you could throw a "Im ready for another holiday" party. It could either be kind of like a vacation theme or it could be all the holdiays rolled in to one. I thought it would be fun to have it right after exams or when after christmas break was over, since a lot of people are gone during X-mas you could have everyone together for this. You could have valentine cards as invites, tell everyone to wear green, carve pumpkins, have american flags to decorate and 4th of july plates out to eat on, Decorate a christmas tree and have a white elephant gift exchange. Valentines punch, green chip dip, halloween cookies, and 4th of july pigs in a blanket and hot coco. Any one have any other holdiays that would be fun to put it the mix? I just thought it was a good idea. I would love to hear what you guys think!
10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / SHHHHH I need Help! (Swap ideas) on: August 09, 2005 08:35:06 PM
Okay, Im doing the Fashion/Pop Culture swap and am now officially stumped. My partner chose the three eras: 20's, Mod/Bandstandish 60's, & the 80's. I've already decided to make a CD of the music from each time and maybe a CD holder. I was thinking about stenciling a shirt. Making some 80s jewlery? Since I wasnt alive during any of these decades i was wondering if anyone had some ideas or crafts I could do for them. I was thinking i could maybe do each decade in a box, but I wasnt sure what to put it. Any ideas are appreciated. THANK YOU!
