1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Sweet 14 needs dior help on: June 13, 2006 03:53:34 PM
for centerpieces you could always take a mod look to a boquette of flowers. Or buy something like huge silver ribbon and use starch to form them into a sort of "ribbon fountain".

Sorry if I spelled a few things wrong in this. School is out and im having issues.  Roll Eyes
Hope your party goes well!!!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Pimps&Hoe's Party Decorations, etc??! on: May 22, 2006 07:18:11 PM
Hey everyone!! My friends and I are having a Pimps and Hoe's party. We have a DJ, invites are made and costumes have been bought/made, but I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for decorations, games, special foods, or fun gift bags that we could do.
Its in a pretty large space and we have access to music, etc.
We are thinking about spraypainting a large sheet or paper with either a graffitti scene or just a skyline. Any other ideas?? Streamers?? Baloons?? Im at a loss for ideas. I want this to be fantastic.
If anybody has any other ideas for anything else that would be great too!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Any ideas or help at all is GREATLY appreciated.

you could always make it a list of things craftsters decide they want/need and then the other craftster goes on a "hunt" for them.
Just an idea.  Smiley

No problem! Im glad I could help!

Also for decorations if you have some old suitcases with cool stamps or whatever you could set them by the doorway to signal you've arrived or something?? Idk.

Tea lights will set the mood.

You could just have a seashore/nautical themed party, but more sophisticated. You could use different shades of blue and have seashells scattered about and you could have white christmas lights. It could look really pretty.

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: PLEASE HELP I'm planning a very important party!!!! on: April 30, 2006 02:16:04 PM
For my 14th birthday I had a sort of VIVA LA BAM style scavenger hunt around town. It was really really fun and all my friend still talk about it and how original it was. I had 3 different catagories..Things to do, Things to take a picture of, and things to find. Some of the things to do included proposing to someone with a candy ring or doing yoga on the sidewalk until someone noticed you and commented. Each one was worth a certain amount of money and it was really great to see a lot of my much quiter friends come out of their shells and get so competative about things. I could send you the full list of things for each catagory if your interested. Good Luck! :]
