Definatly try thrift stores.  At my local Salvation Army they sell (well, sold, they closed) ties for 99 cents.  Value Village was more expensive (3 bucks), but the ties were really nice ones.  The ties that weren't so nice they put in bags.  I got a bag of around 50 ties for 4 dollars once!  That was the best thrifting day ever.

Wow, that's awesome!  Right now the majority of my crafting supplies are in shoe boxes.  This is way cooler.

6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: ribbbbbbbbon!!! on: November 06, 2005 01:43:59 PM
Maybe you could use them as shoe laces?  I would probably use them in scrapbook pages or cards.

cool! It strikes me that something seems wrong about her hand on the ground there...like shes griping it too hard or something. But what am i saying, it's way better than anything i could do!! My compliments Grin

I agree.  It seems like her arm is a little too "stiff".  Still, nice job!

It's great!  I love madeye, which is why I can't wait until the next movie comes out.  I'm hoping it will be better than the last three, and I really hope they don't mess up one of my favorite characters!

does anyone know if there is a way to revive a dry sharpie? I haven't had it long. It is a double ended one and the fine end is dry now!  Angry

I have a few of the double ended sharpies, and I've never gotten the fine point to work for more than a day or so.
